Professional: Cameron Williams is a D.C native, but grew up in Stamford CT.  Cameron was a stand out athlete at King & Low-Heywood Thomas School where he lettered in both Basketball and Football, and received all conference honors in Basketball his senior year.  Although he received more attention from college football coaches, Cameron’s desire to play college basketball led him to division III Washington University in St. Louis.

In St. Louis Cameron lettered all four years in basketball but truly came into his own as an athlete when his athleticism came to the attention of the University’s Track & Field Team.  Cameron received all conference honors in both the indoor and outdoor seasons his Junior and Senior years.  He was the indoor and outdoor champion in the high jump his Junior year, and during his Senior year was conference champion during the indoor season and  conference runner up in the outdoor season.  During his Junior year Cameron also qualified for the NCAA Division III indoor championships with a leap that still stands as the school’s indoor record.  At the indoor championships Cameron placed fourth in the high jump earning him All-American honors.  His accomplishments during his Junior Track & Field season earned him his universities Junior male Athlete of the Year award.

Cameron is currently developing his skills as a sports performance coach as he earns his masters in exercise Science from George Washington University.

Coaching Philosophy: Cameron’s coaching philosophy comes from advice he was given by his father. “Be better today then you were yesterday, be better tomorrow then you are today.”
