Rookie (Ages 8-10)

The Perfect Performance Rookie Strength & Speed Academy is designed to introduce athlete’s ages 8-10 to foundational speed and strength movements all while having FUN.  The 1 hour training session is broken into 3 parts; dynamic warm-up, movement and strength.  A sample workout for an acceleration focused day would is as follows:

  1. Dynamic Warm-Up:Jump rope, Static mobility, dynamic flexibility, nervous system activation (15 min)
  2. Acceleration: Arm drills, wall drills, sprints (25 min)
  3. Strength: Planks, Bounds, BW Squats, Push-ups (20 min)

Monday-Thursday       5:00pm-6:00pm OR 7:00pm-8:00pm                                                               Friday                           5:00pm-6:00pm                                                                                   Saturday                      9:00am-10:00am
