Boys Lacrosse Academy
The PP Boys Lacrosse Academy is a comprehensive training program that will develop elementary, middle and high school lacrosse players to perform at the highest level possible. The program will focus on fundamental, intermediate and advanced lacrosse skills and techniques, as well as speed, footwork, and strength specific to boys lacrosse players. Our mission is to produce competitive boys athletes that love the game and are prepared to seize the many opportunities that lacrosse offers.
PERFECT PERFORMANCE NOVA BOYS LACROSSE ACADEMY
The Fall Kick-Off Clinic will be a great opportunity to learn professional skills and techniques from former MLL player JJ Miller, our Director of the Boys Lax Academy. The two hour session will focus on stick skills & techniques as well as footwork, speed and agility skills necessary to separate yourself from your competition. The clinic is for boys lacrosse players 4th grade-12th grade. We will separate the group by U13 and below to U15 and above.
The clinic will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 3pm-5pm. Please where sneakers or turf shoes and bring your gear (sticks, helmets, and gloves). CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
STICK & SPEED SCHOOL (4th-8th grade)
Stick & Speed is a 2 hour training session that is divided into two 60 minute segments. One segment is focused on individual stick skills of passing, catching, shooting, dodging, face-offs, retrieving ground balls, etc. The second segment is focused on speed, agility and footwork techniques that improve offensive and defensive play.
The training sessions are for boys lacrosse athletes in the 4th-8th grade. The fall sessions(6) are scheduled for Tuesday, October 4,11,18,25 and November 1,8. All sessions will be from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Perfect Performance NOVA, 8502 Tyco Road, Suite B, Tysons Corner, VA 22182. There will be a maximum of 15 athletes in the sessions. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
STICK & STRENGTH SCHOOL (9th-12th grade)
Stick & Strength is a 2 hour training session divided into two 60 minute segments. The first segment is focused on lacrosse skills & techniques of shooting, dodging, passing, face-offs and overall ball control. The second segment is focused on strength development to improve core strength/stability, rotational power and explosiveness power. These segments will improve your overall game performance on the practice and game field.
The training sessions are for boys lacrosse athletes in the 9-12th grade. The fall sessions(6) are scheduled for Tuesday, October 4,11,18,25 and November 1,8. All sessions will be from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Perfect Performance NOVA, 8502 Tyco Road, Suite B, Tysons Corner, VA 22182. There will be a maximum of 15 athletes in the sessions. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
SMALL SIDE SCHOOL (4th-8th grade)
Small Side School is a 90 minute training session that focuses on improving overall game acumen and small side play. Professional level offensive and defensive concepts will be taught to help our athletes gain confidence and achieve success in 1v1 through 5v5 situations. Players will learn the skills, techniques and in game communication necessary to be successful on the field.
The training session sessions are for boys lacrosse athletes in the 4th-8th grade. The fall sessions(6) are scheduled for Friday, October 7,14,21,28 and November 4,11. All sessions will be from 7:00-8:30pm at Perfect Performance NOVA, 8502 Tyco Road, Suite B, Tysons Corner, VA 22182. There will be a maximum of 15 athletes in the sessions. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
BOYS LACROSSE EVALUATION
Metrics of speed, strength and lacrosse skills are how high school and college coaches evaluate players that they want for their program. Our boys lacrosse evaluation will measure your speed, agility, explosiveness, shot speed, shot accuracy, and ability to pass/catch the ball on both hands. After the evaluation we will provide a written summary which highlights your son’s metrics, strengths and areas for improvement. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
