Born: Niskayuna, New York

Professional: Pete was born in Niskayuna and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York. Pete is a graduate of Saratoga Springs high school where he was a 3-sport athlete captaining the football, indoor track and field and tennis teams.  As a senior in high school, Pete earned numerous post-season football awards and was recruited to play both football and tennis at the NCAA Division III level. After the recruiting process, Pete decided to attend Union College in Schenectady, New York for his college years.

At Union, Pete was a 2-year starter as a 1 and 3 technique defensive tackle on the football team and recorded 78 tackles. Pete was President of the Student Body, a 2010 Arthur Ashe Sport Scholar Award winner, was a member of the 2006 Union College NCAA Playoff Team and the 2009 Union College ECAC Division III North Atlantic Bowl Championship team. In college, Pete was also a member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams competing in the shot put and discuss. Pete finished 5th in the Shot Put at the 2008 Liberty League Championships and 7th in the Shot Put at the NYSCTC Indoor Championships. Pete was also a member of the 2010 Liberty League Track and Field All-Academic Team.  After graduation, Pete entered the political world and currently serves as a Deputy Press Secretary in the U.S. Senate. Prior to joining Perfect Performance, Pete had coaching experiences with the Brooklyn Titans, a youth football organization in New York City and Koa Sports in Bethesda, Maryland.

Coaching Philosophy: Pete’s coaching philosophy is rooted in dedication and preparation. He believes just like anything in life, in athletics: hard work pays off; to get where you want to be, you have to earn it.  Having a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow, as an athlete and a person will create a recipe for success that can be applied both on and off the field.
