Professional:Greg Gaskins played high school football at William Penn Senior High School in York, PA. Greg had a stellar senior year, earning Quad A First Team All-State honors and accepted a full ride scholarship to play at the University of Pittsburgh. Greg was a versatile offensive lineman playing all five positions along the offensive line. At Pitt, he started two years at Offensive Guard and Tackle. Upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, Greg relocated to Washington DC. Currently he is the freshman Offensive Line coach at Gonzaga College High School as well as the Offensive Line coach for the DC Divas.
Coaching Philosophy: Greg’s coaching philosophy is effort and hard work defeats talent any day. Greg states, “I strive to build confidence in players because the battle begins long before you line up. It begins with defeating your own insecurities and believing in yourself. I train not only the body but the mind for it is the mind that controls the body so once you can control your mind you can control your body to become the best athlete you can. Offensive line play comes down to pride, technique, and discipline… All the qualities of a great O-lineman.”
