Coaching Philosophy: Leonard’s coaching philosophy has its foundation in preparation, discipline, and pushing perceived limits. Leonard believes that the more preparation that is done on practice field, the easier the actual game is to play. He believes that sports teach athletes a level of discipline and sacrifice that is life applicable. Lastly, he believes that as athletes will themselves past their perceived mental and physical limits, they become acclimated to that environment and are not shaken when the “game” takes them there.
